We’re thinking we might call him “Archie.”
So let’s take it as read that John and I are certifiably crazy, shall we? It’ll make everything from here on out a lot easier.
Meet Archie*:
* No, we’re not sure if that’s his final name. We’re also not sure if we’re getting him. He’s a Montgomery County Humane Society rescue dog - actually, he’s all the way from Louisiana. He’s a lab mix - the jury is out on what’s in the mix - golden retriever, maybe spaniel or setter - we’re just not sure.
What we are sure of is that he’s very sweet and friendly:

He’s also (in my humble opinion) rather handsome and I love the reflection from the water bowl on his forehead here:
We have to pass the Montgomery County interview test, and we have to make the final decision to actually take him into our home, but I think we’re 90% there.
We are such suckers.
