The animal shelter in NoLa can use
knitted "cage cozies." A perfect beginner's project -
dogs and cats don't care about dropped stitches or uneven edges. Additionally,
if you have a bunch of not-quite matching yarn you can't bear to throw away,
this would send it to a good
home.
